Following a two year hiatus due to COVID, Amawaterways will return to Asia later this year, on October 17, reports Travel Pulse. The AmaDara will set sail in the Mekong River on two itineraries to Cambodia and Vietnam, Charms of the Mekong and Riches of the Mekong.

Charms of the Mekong starts from Ho Chi Minh City to Prek Kdam and includes two nights in Ho Chi Minh City, two nights in Siem Reap, three nights in Hanoi and one in Ha Long Bay.

Riches of the Mekong sailing includes two nights Hanoi, one in Ha Long Bay, three nights in Siem Reap, a seven-night Prek Kdam to Ho Chi Minh City cruise and two nights in Ho Chi Minh City.

The Amadara boasts luxury accommodation, high-end amenities and award-winning dining. Its 62 staterooms include balconies, flat-screen televisions with on-demand movies, a desk and sitting area, and fresh water daily.

There is a small fitness center, a sundeck with a pool and shaded seating, three spas, daily entertainment and cultural performances on board the ship.

AmaWaterways is represented in South Africa by Cruises International.
