 Prezley
Mungala was
recently promoted
to operations
development
manager at Sun
International’s
Royal Livingstone Hotel in
Zambia. Prezley has risen
through the ranks from porter
to management. He joined
Sun International in 2001 as a
porter at The Royal Livingstone
Hotel and was soon promoted
to doorman, followed by head
concierge, and thereafter
assistant front office manager.
After training with Magnums
Butlers International of
Australia, he later became
the accommodation services
manager. He then gained
invaluable experience at The
Palace of The Lost City at Sun
City managing its front office
and housekeeping operations.
Before his recent promotion he
was rooms division manager at
the Royal Livingstone Hotel.

new executive
chef, Phil de
Villiers. Phil was
previously the
executive sous
chef at Level Four Restaurant
and will take over from Gerard
Vingerling in August.
