BRITISH Airways will launch three
weekly direct flights between Gatwick
and Cape Town, starting on November
24, the airline has announced.
The flights will depart Gatwick at
18h00 on Mondays, Thursdays and
Saturdays and arrive in Cape Town at
07h50 the following morning.
Wesgro has welcomed the
development. Wesgro ceo,
Tim Harris, said the new service
would have a positive impact on
tourism, trade and investment
in Cape Town as the UK was
the second-largest foreign direct
investment source market.
