RCI and Celebrity reveal Cruise Planner
ROYAL Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises have
developed a new planning tool that allows guests to plan
their holiday more quickly and easily than before. The Cruise
Planner can be accessed via desktop or tablet and allows
guests to book all reservations, activities and entertainment
until four days prior to departure. Guests can research
all featured products and extra holiday options on their
specific itinerary, as well as activity recommendations.
They can access restaurants and beverage packages and
browse hundreds of shore excursions by day, port, activity
type and number of guests. The Cruise Planner includes
a personalised ‘order history’ and ‘shopping cart’ with a
printable calendar that is colour-coded for each member of
the travelling party.
Crystal introduces running adventures
CRYSTAL Cruises has introduced ‘Site Running Crystal
Adventures’ on Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity.
Passengers are taken on escorted 5-10km jogs past historic
sites, nature reserves and through parks during itinerary
stops throughout Europe, allowing them to maintain their
active lifestyles while visiting destinations. The cost of the
active excursions begins at US$69 (R733) per person for a
one- to four-hour jog. It includes return transfers, instructorled
warm-ups, guided sightseeing stops, reflective safety
gear and healthy refreshments such as bottled water, power
snacks, and fresh juice en route.
