DUBAI International Airport has
implemented a new passenger
facilities charge (PFC) of AED 35
(R149), which will be charged
on departing flights, effective
immediately.
The fee will be charged each
time the passenger is on a flight
departing Dubai – a passenger on
a JNB-DXB-JNB flight will be charged
a PFC of AED 35, and a passenger
flying JNB-DXB-PRG-DXB-JNB will be
charged AED 70 (R298).
Those exempt from the fee
include infants under two years
without a seat, airline crew and
passengers who transit through
DXB on the same plane and do not
change their flight.
The PFC will be collected as a
departure tax and shown separately
on the ticket by the code F6
