Emerald Cruises & Tours has launched Emerald Kaia, which set sail on its inaugural voyage from Limassol, Cyprus, following a successful transit through the Red Sea and Suez Canal.
Dining venues on the 128‑guest luxury yacht include:
- The signature restaurant, La Cucina, with an open-plan kitchen for guests to connect with the chefs.
- The new Soleá Bar & Bistro, next to the Vitality Pool, serves Mediterranean-inspired cuisine and is open for à la carte breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with panoramic sea views.
- The Night Market Grill, an immersive private dining experience for up to eight guests, offers flavours inspired by local markets of Asia.
The reimagined Wellness Deck features salt therapy lounges, a cold plunge pool, and a spacious spa offering luxurious treatments and therapies.
New interconnecting suites have been introduced to enhance flexibility for families and groups, balancing privacy with a shared space. All suites feature floor-to-ceiling windows.
Emerald Kaia will sail the Adriatic Sea for the Mediterranean summer in 2026 and 2027, offering a range of eight- and 15-day itineraries between Venice and Dubrovnik.
The ship then repositions to the Indian Ocean, sailing in the Seychelles from December 2026 to March 2027. Eight- to 20-day itineraries will be available, including the 16‑day Safari & Seychelles journey, which combines Seychelles cruising with safaris in Kenya. Extra departure dates have recently been added for this itinerary.
The debut of Emerald Kaia coincides with the recent river trials of Emerald Astra, which will join the fleet in May on the Rhine, Main, and Danube rivers.
Emerald Cruises is represented by Cruise Vacations in the South African market.
