Fastjet Zimbabwe will increase its current schedule to daily services between Victoria Falls International Airport and Johannesburg OR Tambo International Airport, effective May 30.
“The flight arrival times in Victoria Falls have been adjusted, offering customers the opportunity to minimise the time spent at the airport with a likely faster airport exit and more time at hand to enjoy some of the afternoon activities that Victoria Falls is renowned for, as well as a seamless opportunity for daytime road transport arrangements,” said a fastjet Zimbabwe spokesperson.
The airline says the departure from Victoria Falls to Johannesburg offers travellers a leisurely morning in Victoria Falls to include any last-minute activities, like curio and art shopping. It arrives in Johannesburg just before peak travel times at ORTIA and also before the road traffic rush hour in Johannesburg.
The new flight programme will operate daily as follows:
FN 8501 Johannesburg to Victoria Falls depart 11h10, arrive 12h50
FN 8502 Victoria Falls to Johannesburg depart 13h20, arrive 14h55
Flights are operated by the airline’s 50-seat Embraer ERJ145 aircraft.
