News: Fastjet launches daily JNB-ZNZ flights

FASTJET will launch daily
flights to Zanzibar from
Johannesburg on January
11 in response to strong
passenger and tour operator
demand from the South
African market. The route will
be operated using an Airbus
A319 aircraft.
Flights will depart
Johannesburg at 14h10 and
land in Zanzibar at 19h40.
The return flight departs
Zanzibar at 09h30 and lands
in Johannesburg at 13h20.
The flight from
Johannesburg will make
a 30-minute stop in Dar
es Salaam, although
passengers do not need to
disembark.
Tickets are currently on
sale, with one-way fares from
Johannesburg starting at
R1 704 and from Zanzibar
from R1 860. The return fare
from Johannesburg starts
at R3 564. Fares include
airport and government
taxes.
