African Sun’s Group marketing, PR and innovation manager, Karen Chenayimwoyo Dhliwayo died on December 31, aged 33, after a short illness.
She attended Zimbabwe’s Midlands State University, graduating with a BCom (Honours) in Marketing Management in 2009. She achieved her Masters of Commerce in Marketing Strategy in 2013 and was awarded the Brand Manager of the Year Award by the Marketers Association of Zimbabwe in 2017. She moved to African Sun in October 2019 as Group Marketing, PR and Innovation manager.
African Sun md, Ed Shangwa, said: “She was collaborative, goal-oriented and was a caring team player.”
“She was very pleasant and most of all a respectful and responsible daughter. Her memory will live forever,” said African Sun Human Resources executive, Memory Macheka.
Karen leaves behind her parents, a brother and a sister.
