Air France KLM has appointed Wouter Vermeulen new gm
for the Southern Africa region. Wouter first entered the
airline industry in 2008 as a management trainee in the KLM
Talent Development programme. He was then appointed to
the Air France KLM revenue management division followed
by the inventory and revenue analysis division for the KLM
medium-haul network, where he was promoted to director
after two years. Wouter accepted his first posting outside
The Netherlands in 2015 when he moved to Brazil to head
up the South American commercial division. After a further
promotion, he joined the Southern African team in February,
where he will be stationed for four years.
