Major hotel group expands in Kenya
THE Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group plans to open four more hotels in
Kenya in the next three years. Park Inn and Residence hotels are
under construction in Nairobi and are expected to be open by the
end of April and December respectively.
Initially, Park Inn was supposed to open in the fourth quarter of
2013, but the date was postponed due to construction delays.
Carlson Rezidor plans to add two more hotels, one in Mombasa and
the other in Nairobi.

Bookings open for new Okavango camp
BOOKINGS for Natural Selection’s new Sable Alley camp, in
Botswana’s Okavango Delta, are open. The camp is in the Khwai
Private Reserve, a 200 000-hectare concession along the Khwai
and Sable Alley rivers. Each of the 12 tents is almost 60 square
metres in size and activities include game drives, night drives,
mokoro and boat trips and walks.
