Ponant Expeditions has expanded the range of cruises that will waive single supplements, offering solo passengers the chance to have their own stateroom.
Ponant offers more than 160 cruises with solo staterooms, as reported by Travel News.
In 2026, solo staterooms will be offered on the Geographic North Pole itinerary aboard the world’s only luxury icebreaker, Le Commandant Charcot, which will sail in July and August. Solo staterooms will also be made available on the Journey to Austral Lands and Valdes Peninsula itinerary in February and March 2026 on the sister ships Le Boréal, L’Austral and Le Lyrial.
“Solo travellers often seek introspection, and the polar regions provide unmatched stillness, vastness and personal space – with no compromise on comfort,” Anthony Daniels, Ponant Explorations GM for UK and Ireland told Travel Pulse.
