QATAR Airways has introduced
a new online system that
allows passengers of the
airline, including South
Africans, to apply online for
tourist visas to Qatar.
The process takes about 10
days and the cost is US$55
(R613) per person. The option
to fast track the application is
available at a cost of US$120
(R1 336) per person and takes
approximately seven days to
process.
Only one-month single-entry
tourist visas are available and
the visa must be used within
60 days of the date of issue.
The validity and the visa period
cannot be extended.
