The Bazaruto Archipelago
is a protected conservation
area. It is the only marine
reserve in Mozambique and
one of the largest national
parks in the Indian Ocean.
A good diving spot with an
abundance of fish, turtles,
devil rays and the last of
the endangered dugong.
Known as the ‘Pearl of the
Indian Ocean’, Bazaruto
Archipelago is an almost
untouched paradise with
sandy beaches and calm

Madagascar

Up to 99% of the Maldives
is sea. There are around
200 inhabited islands, of
which 90 are developed as

seasons, dry and wet, the
