The end of an era!

ROD Rutter who has been
at the helm of XL Group for
more than ten years is to
retire from his position as
coo of XL Travel.
Marco Ciochetti, who has
been md of XL Sandown
Travel for 20 years and is
a past president of Asata,
has been appointed the
new ceo of XL Travel,
effective from April 1.
Rod will remain on
with the group as a
consultant.
“XL is extremely
fortunate to have
acquired the services
of Marco, who
comes with a wealth
of experience of
the entire industry
as well as an intimate
knowledge of the XL Group,
having been one of the
founding members,” the
group said in a statement.
