Travel Association (ABTA)
has appointed Nadine
Clarke as its regional
director for Africa. Nadine
will be responsible
for ABTA’s expansion
across Africa, as well as
increasing membership
and sponsorship for the
association. Previously,
Nadine was head of
corporate at Diners Club,
and head of strategic
relationships at American
Express International.
 Oliver
Richter has
been appointed
gm of The
Peech Hotel
in Melrose,
Johannesburg.
Oliver worked for Lion Sands
Private Game Reserve for
14 years before consulting
for Lion Roars Hotel and
Lodges, where he was also
acting regional gm for a
year. He was then appointed
gm for the Athol Place Hotel,
Villa and Restaurant.
 Irshaad
Yasseen
has joined
the Cruises
International
team as
business
development
manager for Gauteng.
