appointed

Kieran de

Vries and

Samantha

Buitendach

as area

sales

managers

for Cape

Town and

Durban

respectively.

Kieran previously worked

at STA as a consultant

and then in marketing,

while Samantha worked

on board Disney’s Cruise

Lines and then at Mr Price

in graphic design.

Kieran will oversee the

youth brands of

U River Cruises, Contiki

and Busabaout, while

Samantha will oversee the

Open Age brands Trafalgar,

CostSaver, Insight

Vacations, Luxury Gold and

Uniworld Boutique River

Cruise Collection.

 Qantas

has

appointed

Anna

Pritchard

as the

airline’s

new

regional general manager

for the UK, Africa, Europe,

Middle East and India.

Anna has been with Qantas

for over eight years and

was previously Qantas’s

regulatory head of legal

and assistant company

secretary. She brings with

her experience in managing

the airline’s alliances and

commercial partnerships.

Anna says she is looking

forward to strengthening

the Qantas brand and its

relationships in the region.

 Wilderness

Holdings

has

appointed

Dr Neil

Midlane

as group

sustainability

manager.

With experience and an

in-depth knowledge of

biodiversity conservation

and a PhD in lion

conservation, combined

with his background as

a chartered accountant,

his appointment reflects

Wilderness Holdings’

ongoing vision to conserve

and restore Africa’s

wilderness and wildlife

through high-end ecotourism.
