Club Med upgrades travel agent platform

Club Med recently relaunched and updated its travel agent platform, CMTA, to simplify and streamline the sales process.

The overhauled platform, which was launched in the South African market last month, features quick price estimations, with a cross-comparison feature that allows agents to compare resorts and room categories. It is also mobile-friendly.

Agents can book up to 15 people in one booking, can find the best price using the new live pricing calendars and pop-up sale notifications.

The sales process can also now be completed online – from quoting and booking to payment. A secure payment link can be sent to clients while agents track the payment process as the different steps are taken to complete the transaction.

“Great resources have been allocated towards the development of CMTA to create an agent-centric environment that promotes autonomy,” said Camille Janse van Rensburg, Sales Manager of Club Med. “From a functionality perspective, you can do almost anything on the platform now.”

The company has also developed a training module with videos that agents can access to understand how to use the various new features.
