Radisson Hotel Group and Amadeus have built an API connectivity between the hotels group’s EMMA Central Reservation System (CRS) and the Amadeus Travel Platform to modernise hotel distribution.
This collaboration will allow travel sellers to deliver enhanced efficiency and a superior booking experience, moving beyond the limitations of traditional models and classic GDS protocols.
The system integrates with Radisson’s existing API, eliminating the need to maintain separate interfaces. The Amadeus connection updates in real time with Radisson’s API to ensure accurate booking data is brought directly into the Amadeus Travel Platform.
The direct connectivity allows users to make comparisons across room-level amenities, room types, and rates.
“We have enhanced our connectivity by leveraging AI to map the data-fields between the two systems, which ensures consistency and reduces manual tracking. We know that having the capability to share changes in rates and availability instantly to travel sellers is essential for hoteliers and that’s why we’ve built a flexible, reusable connection that can be adopted by hotel chains,” said Mirja Sickel, EVP Hospitality Distribution at Amadeus.
