SQ: pre-order meals in Premium Economy

Starting May 1, Singapore Airlines will allow premium economy passengers to pre-order their main course from the inflight menu via the airline’s website or mobile app, any time from three weeks up to 24 hours before departure.

This follows the initial launch to Suites, first- and business-class customers on all flights across its network last year.

In June, the airline will also enhance its child meal programme created for children between two and 12 years old. This service will enable parents to pre-order specific meals for their children from three different cuisine categories – Asian, Western and vegetarian. The available dishes will be displayed on the airline’s website up to 24 hours before the day of travel, allowing parents to pre-select their child’s preferred dish. This initiative will be available across all cabin classes for flights departing Singapore, with plans to extend to flights departing from overseas destinations from August.

The vegetarian and Muslim meal options have also been reviewed and will rotate more frequently, offering customers greater variety.
