Cruise Vacations has launched Close to Home Collection, bringing together cruise itineraries that depart from or connect with South Africa, as well as Indian Ocean sailings closer to home.
Launched for Heritage Month, the collection features sailings from Silversea, Swan Hellenic and Emerald Cruises, with Cape Town playing a key role across several itineraries.
Silversea options include sectors of its 149-night Three Oceans World Cruise, with voyages from Mahé to Cape Town and Cape Town to Dakar. Silver Muse will also operate a 20-night Lisbon-Cape Town voyage followed by a 22-night sailing from Cape Town to Mumbai.
Swan Hellenic’s Antarctic expedition programme provides further options linking South Africa with the polar region, while Emerald Cruises will offer eight-day round-trip Seychelles itineraries aboard the newly launched Emerald Kaia.

Cruise Vacations is also running a series of travel trade incentives during September. Travel partners will have opportunities to win Takealot vouchers, with rewards linked to featured sailings and promotional activities throughout the campaign.
