Lufthansa cabin crew, represented by the UFO union, will strike on April 15 and 16, a day after the pilots’ strike is expected end.
Lufthansa pilots began a two-day strike on April 13, resulting in the cancellation of hundreds of flights.
The two-day cabin crew stoppage is expected to affect all Lufthansa group departures from Frankfurt and Munich airports as well as Lufthansa Cityline flights. Cabin crew also walked out on April 10 at both Lufthansa and Cityline, forcing both airlines to cancel about 90% of flights.
Flights operated by Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, SWISS, Air Dolomiti, Discover Airlines, Edelweiss and Lufthansa City Airlines will not be affected by the strike.
For cancelled flights or flights that have been automatically rebooked by the airline, the Schedule Change/Irregularity Policy for Travel Agents applies.
