Uganda Airlines has resumed long-haul operations to London and Mumbai after flights were disrupted by the grounding of its long-haul aircraft.
Last month, the airline said two long-haul aircraft had been grounded due to unscheduled maintenance. This impacted flights to London and Mumbai, prompting the airline to consolidate or delay flights and to rebook passengers on partner airlines.
Effective March 7, flights to London and Mumbai were reinstated. Flights to Dubai are still being monitored due to the ongoing conflict in the region.
Uganda Airlines said it was offering free ticket revalidation for affected passengers on long-haul operations.
